The magazine was edited by Pham Quynh for the Vietnamese language section and the literary section, and Nguyen Ba Trac for the Chinese language section. After a short period of operation, with the skillful leadership of its head, editor-in-chief Pham Quynh shifted the magazine's content towards scholarship, exploring Eastern and Western cultures, especially Vietnamese culture, with the aim of raising the people's awareness and spirit. 3. Nguyen Don Phuc was an author belonging to the older generation of scholars. He possessed profound and extensive knowledge, lived with compassion and affection for those around him, and loved his homeland, which is clearly demonstrated in the self-reflective writings of his memoirs. However, the author had a keen eye for observing and evaluating the changing dynamics and transformations of society at that time. His views remain highly relevant even today.
