11. Practical applications:
Based on surveys, research, and evaluations of policies and their implementation regarding human resources in the public library system of Hanoi City, this study proposes several suggestions for developing appropriate policies for library human resources. The aim is to overcome limitations and enhance strengths in the implementation of these policies within the public library system, thereby contributing to ensuring the livelihoods and working conditions of library personnel, a crucial factor determining the development of the Information and Library sector in Vietnam during the period of reform and integration.
12. Future research directions:
This study begins with researching policies regarding library human resources within the public library system in Hanoi. It then moves on to researching other policies for the public library network nationwide, or policies concerning library human resources across the entire public library system, including multi-disciplinary and specialized libraries nationwide.
