This thesis examines variations in aspects such as content, form, and methods of news delivery on mobile devices, specifically the Thanh Nien Mobile journalistic application of Thanh Nien newspaper, and yields the following results:

*Regarding the content:

- The scope of topics is expanding and demonstrating the ability to reflect evenly across various aspects of life;

- News topics are becoming increasingly specific, rich, and diverse, with a particular focus on topics of a novel nature;

- Event updates in mobile news are continuous throughout the day, reflecting events quickly with news coverage within 24 hours of the event occurring;

- News details are increasingly shortened, becoming more selective, only presenting important information; quotations are used extensively and in many cases have become part of the information content.

*In terms of appearance:

- News content on mobile devices is generally becoming shorter. Sentences and paragraphs in news articles are being shortened to fit within the limited space and detail;

- The language system of news reporting is topical, reflecting the content of events, and also includes expressive words, but they are used sparingly.

- The usage rates of different news formats have changed, particularly with the emergence of new formats such as photo news, video news, and graphic news; however, their usage remains limited.

- The opening sentence shows a change in the 5W+1H structure, where the time element is no longer placed in the most important position as in the familiar opening styles of Thanh Nien Online and print newspapers;

- Titles also become more concise (8-10 syllables), conveying appeal by using strong verbs, expressive language, and presenting data to attract the reader's attention.

*Regarding the methods of organizing news production:

- Information gathering activities mainly rely on reusing news from Thanh Nien Online, however, Thanh Nien Mobile has made efforts to build news bulletins with its own unique style;

- Journalists' work is increasingly intertwined with technology, using mobile phones as a supporting tool, paying attention to the speed and brevity of news on mobile devices, and utilizing new tools such as social media to gather information;

- The underlying technology and presentation style of mobile news also have new features that are increasingly closer to public needs and suitable for news delivery on mobile devices, such as: Push Notification Services; customizable user interfaces, information personalization functions, etc.

This contributes to supplementing and updating some theories and skills in writing news for mobile news; helping newspaper editorial offices and reporters equip themselves with more knowledge in writing news and news production skills for mobile platforms, improving the quality of journalistic news on mobile devices in general, and in the case of Thanh Nien Mobile in particular.

The thesis investigates different changes in terms of content, performance, and methodology of composing news onwards mobile devices, particularly Thanh Nien Mobile of Thanh Nien Newspaper gave outcomes as follows:

Content

- The scope of topic has been expanding and reveals the general reflection in living aspects;

- The headline has been more specific, various and diversified, especially the priority of new topics;

- The frequency of event update on mobiles remains continuously within a day, reflects simultaneously news within 24 hours since the event happened.

- The detail of news has become shorter, intensively selective, only important information pointed out, various quotes used and turned into the main points in some cases.

Performance:

- The volume of news on mobile devices has generally become shorter than before. The sentence and paragraph are shortened to fit the required volume and detail;

- The language used is promptly informative, reflects the content of events, in addition to the chain of emotional words but used rarely.

- The usage rate of different types of information is changing, noticeably the emerging ones such as image, video graphic news but used rarely;

- The opening sentence is changed in its structure to 5W + 1H when the time factor is no longer put in the first line as the popular way of opening on Thanh Nien Online and Thanh Nien Newspaper;

- The headline has become shorter (8-10 characters), representing the attractiveness by using strongly impressive words, emotional ones and adding statistics to impress the readers.

* Methodology of producing news:

- Activities of collecting news mainly involves in re-using the source available on Thanh Nien Online; however, Thanh Nien Mobile had many attempts in building bullets of news that have their own style in developing and broadcasting news of world.

- The technology has been involved in activities of reporters; mobile phones used as a necessary and supporting device, fast and short characteristics of mobile articles concerning, social network used popularly to collect information;

- The fundamental technology and performance of articles on mobile indicates new features such as moving closer to public demand and becoming more proper with posting methodology on mobile: Push Notification Services, Layout Customization for users, Personalization information...
